Lieber Peter,
Ansonsten: Gute Zusammenfassung unseres Testspiels!

This game is the perfect game for analysis paralysis. In the end all comes down to mathematics, the final round becomes quite boring as every player calculates how many victory points he can spend and still win.

In addition it is astonishing how little you actually do in a game: We played the basic game length, and the winner of the game had actually (lo and behold) only played 4 (FOUR) turns, I myself had only 2 turns (although I came third, close to the winning score).

There is also the "Vinci" phenomenon, which comes down to kingmaking through subtle group dynamics.

But still, there are a lot of interesting features that show the skill of the game designer, and some people might like it quite more than me. I simply rate the actual fun that I had, which was not the same as my high respect for (the extremely well laid-out) rules.

Although the game production values are very high, one should criticize a few glitches in the graphic design: sometimes a grey symbol means ANY trader, sometimes it means YOUR trader (but that's also the case if it's rainbow coloured). We were confused, although we used the player aid continously. Also it could have helped to have different backs for the various same-sized counters which easily get mixed up although fulfilling different functions.
